Anyone have the HTC Sync download file, that they could get to me somehow? (Or know an alternate download location?)

I wanna root an EVO Shift, and any download I try from the HTC site is so slow that it eventually just stops.

if you just need the drivers, an old trick is to install pdanet

hell if I know whether that's still accurate though

reb - not sure...I am following the instructions located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1357157, and everything I've seen says to follow the instructions to a "T".
