AgEng06, I'm in Houston.

I've got an Academy close to work that I'll check when I leave here, but chances are there won't be much there. I've also got one close to the house that I'll be heading to in the morn.

From their site they've got the Magpul PMAGs that you would find anywhere else, so I'm not sure what exactly a "ProMAG" is since the P actually stands for "Polymer." At least that's what I understood.

no other mags. I was looking for some extra 15 round g19 mags myself. They didn't have any, so I bought another g19.

I see the ProMags all the time in stores, but have never seen any PMAGs. That's why I was asking. No big deal though...

Well, I'll be showing my Mom what gun she should buy; I'll see if they have any pmags, since I know what they are now.

I just ordered some metal ones from rock river, but I'd really like some more pmags.

Why not join the madness. I don't have any Omaha, just steel n aluminum. I might be on for a couple. U need an email?

So I just stopped by the local Academy and they were pretty much out of everything AR15 related. No PMAGs, no ammo, no nothing. They had some 20ct boxes of JHP and varmint tip going for $11 & $12, respectively but that was all.

May try another place a little later when it opens up, but I'm betting it'll be more of the same. Depending on what Chup's charging, looks like I'll be waiting a little while till stock replenishes. Oh well, no biggie.

I would like to stock up a little more on ammo, though, for plinking.

Someone should enlighten this Paul Magnanti character to the potentially lucrative opportunity to re-purpose his self named blog into a search engine that deals only in finging vendors with PMags in stock. He's probably not a gun guy or entrepreneur or he would have already taken the initiative.

Well bummer, I got an email from LaRue today saying that my PMags are back ordered.

Scored a 42 round mag and a handfull of 30 rounders today. Just happen to be there as they stocked the shelf.

Anybody heard from Chups lately? With everyone requesting pmags, he's probably trying to figure out how much it's going to cut into his profit margin.

At this point he's probably looking at only a 78% profit margin.

230Ag, your email failed to deliver.

I think I've emailed everyone here so far. I've got about 325 remaining, but of those, I've committed to sell about 150 of them. I'm taking the remainder to the Pasadena gun show tomorrow.

I'm gonna go see what things are going for then figure out what to charge people. Probably wait until after noon once everything is sold out. I thought about waiting until Sunday, but tomorrow afternoon might be just as good.

If you hear about some guy getting beatdown or shot for price 'gouging' on plastic magazines, that would be me.

And my buddy who has a small company up in Lubbock just bumped his price from 17.25 (plus tax and shipping) to 25.50 (plus t&S). His cost is (was) about $9 each. And he's sold more in a week than in the previous 11.5 months of 2012.
