What do you guys use when traveling with your clubs? I hate not knowing which ones are crap quality but also hate to overpay if there are better/more feasible options.

I've never traveled with my clubs before but I am playing in an event with my company and I'll need to take them on a flight.

Thanks in advance.

Got a cheap hard case at Academy for only $50. I don't travel with it too much so it works well for me.

Wouldn't get it if you plan on traveling a lot.

i have one of those hard cases and the one thing you need to do with those is make sure you have room in your rental car, since they're quite a bit larger than your golf bag.

i've never heard anybody complain about a club glove bag, but there may be a cheaper alternative that doesn't sacrifice quality.

i've also heard if you get a soft bag that you should get one of those stiff arms.

If you're not going to use often, go with the cheap hard cases. As Jackie mentioned, they may not fit in the trunk, but you can lay the case flat in the back seat of the rental car.

I have an Ogio soft case and the airlines have shredded it in only two trips.

Club Glove.

Hard cases suck when traveling because occasionally you'll get a rental car that a hard case won't fit in.

I have a Club Glove Burst Proof II and it's pretty sturdy. No complaints.

Club Glove with the Stiff Arm Stick. I am cautious though, because i dont want my driver snapped.

I have used one of the more well padded versions of the Bag Boy along with a Stiff Arm for the past 10+ years (traveling numerous times per year). Club Glove is great and maybe scrimping isn't the best idea when it comes to clubs, but you can save quite a bit of cash with a good Bag Boy. Definitely get the Stiff Arm though if you get any type of soft case.

And as mentioned above, the hard cases can be a headache depending on the rental car size.

Shipsticks is a good option nowadays.

Club Glove if you want the best quality and would use it often as it isn't cheap.

Other cheap soft brand if you don't plan on using it much. I can't imagine having a hard case, but is just not my preference. Storing it the rest of the year might be a hassle. I just slide my Club Glove cover under the bed and pull it out when traveling.

+1. I have a BagBoy model that I think I spent $100 on. I have used it probably 10 times and it's great for the money.

club glove Burst Proof or Last Bag. Burst proof has a 3yr warranty and the Last Bag has a lifetime warranty. Awesome travel bags, but not cheap. Get the Stiff Arm to go with whichever (if any) you purchase.

its called the last bag for a reason... last bag you'll ever purchase / use...

I went thru a bunch before buying the club glove last bag... got it embroidered with my name to keep anyone from stealing it / taking it from an airport...

absolutely love it... wish I had saved the money from buying the cheap ones...

Gotta agree with the two posts above mine. Fork over the dough for the Club Glove and be done with it.

I can keep a $20 bill in my wallet for a month if I have to, but I had no trouble deciding on the Burst Proof. Got one in maroon, it's almost like having your name embroidered on it because you won't see one like it at the airport. I would have chosen the Last Bag but it's too big for my purposes.

Club Glove with stiff arm here also. I always take my drive head off just in case.
