in my basement putting.

Still have too much snow on the golf courses. Maybe next weekend they will open the driving range.

I need to stop reading about people playing golf while I'm sitting inside at work on a sunny day...

I have Easter stuff going on tomorrow and Sunday, then I'm going to be going on vacation starting Thursday. Really pumped for vacation, but kinda sad that I won't be able to get out and play for a couple weeks.

Twin Creeks played great. Fairways are greening up and the greens are in good shape. The bunkers suck and are just rock hard packed dirt, but don't hit your ball in there, right? Also probably biased cause I shot my back 9 at even par, something I haven't don't for about 8 years. Ended with a 79. It is a nice short course that makes you feel like a better player... Haha.

Thanks Nomad, nice round! I played the Bridges course at Firewheel this weekend. First time out there and I liked it alot. Fairways were really greening up and the Bentgrass greens were rolling!

95 at Miramont. Was hitting em pretty good for me. Really tough to figure out the greens and the rough --for me anyway.

82 at RamRock. I am convinced now more than ever that Ram is the hardest course in the state. It was a perfect morning. The course was soft from an early morning drizzle, the greens were a little slower than usual from being punched and sanded 17 days before, and there was about a half club wind. I cruized the the front with a 37 and was just nailing everything. Missed a short birdie on 8 and should have probably been even. In my mind I think I am finally after many tries going to conquer the beast. But the Ramrock demon rose. I trippled 10, doubled 11, and limped in with a 45 on the back.

I cant remember my best score on Apple but I shot 71 on Slick just three weeks ago. But I have never broken 80 on Ram. The sad thing is I hit the ball pretty well all day and didnt have a three putt.

But I will return. One of my sisters is a member and I play there with her five or six times a year. I will drive down and she will ask me which course I want to play. I will say Ramrock of course. She will book the tee time as she shakes her head wondering what went wrong with her brother.
