I'm thinking about taking a few lessons in the Dallas area. I'm expecting ~$100/lesson, probably dont want to pay any more than that. Does anyone have any recommendations? I play probably once or twice a month and usually shoot high 90's low 100's.

2 of the best in DFW...

1 - mark moore. was at hank haney. he's got a website. may have moved...

2 - tim cusick out at 4 seasons / sports club.
I know he's still there. saw him at the Byron.

doubt you'll get either for $100..

my 2 cents: there's 2 kinds of instruction.

1 - setup, grip, posture, tempo, basic short game - these guys are everywhere and cost 35 - $100

2 - guys that can do all of above plus they can see the path, clubface, plane, etc.
these guys cost $150 - 250...

don't pay for 2 if you only need 1. but pay for 2 if you need 2.

all of them claim to know all / see all...

mark and tim are #2 guys, but they cost more..

just my 2 cents...

Dallas specifically or are you looking at burbs too? (AKA North DFW)

If near enough to Ridgeview Ranch GC in Plano, I have had good success with Bruce Sims out there.

I have no experience with em but have heard awesome things about Chris O Connel (Kuchars coach) and I believe his name was Rick or maybe Randy Smith.

Randy Smith at Royal Oaks is awesome, but I don't know if he teaches any more.

+1 for Tim Cusick. I took lessons from him almost 20 years ago when he was at Hank Haney. I went from high 90's/100's to low 80's/high 70's in a few months. Tim was the reason. Awesome experience. 20 years later I still remember the critical parts of the lesson.

OP, this list is a little dated and some of these guys may have moved around some, but thought it would be useful:

Just my 2 cents, if you only have time for golf once or twice a month, I don't know that taking a lesson from a great teacher will help you. Any Class A PGA professional who actively teaches can help you and give you a couple of things to work on, particularly with grip, setup and alignment. But to get better, you're going to have to commit to playing and practicing more often than that.

I do encourage you to take lessons, though. It will help you practice with purpose and make good use of the practice time you have available.
