Playing the course today for only the second time. Last time I played it was a few years ago. Any new updates or tips on the experience? My wife will also be playing her first round of golf ever today with me.

Couple of threads on wolfdancer already. But the common theme is to stay out of the native grass. It's a black hole for balls.

Being accurate is better than being long as well. There are a lot of strategically placed trees and bunkers. You really need to think about where you will be hitting your next shot from.

Lastly, depending on where they cut the holes, it could be one of the worst days of putting in your life.

I was going to type a long reply but Sloan pretty much got it all. Search for wolfdancer if you want to find out a little more, but my big advice is stay the hell away from the native grass.

And enjoy it, it's a fun course with some great views and many ways to play each hole.

sloan covered it very well, but all that said enjoy it. Great looking course we beautiful scenery and it's a fun track.

I disagreed with my playing partners when I played. I feel it is better to aim for the center of the green than aiming for pins. My thought is that missing greens out there is more penal than leaving yourself a 40' putt. Being cute can cost you and, frankly, you will have three putts regardless of proximity.

They punched and sanded the greens, if that matters to you. Played there last Friday and it kicked my butt. Bunkers were in terrible shape. Fairways and tee boxes were in great condition.
