Enjoyed it, not overly difficult and had a good time. I really liked the gps guided carts, showing distance and a map of each hole.....wish the places around home would get those.

There were some really nice places. When I go back I want to play kelly plantation.

We're going in a few weeks and I want to play there and Kelly. Do you have any idea on how soon I need to schedule a tee time? Is it pretty open or packed?

Playing at sand destin this week

I was able to get a 7am time at seascape two days in advance. Early it wasn't bad at all.

Emerald bay looked nice and so did regatta along with the hilton golf club.

But the traffic..........holy hell

GolfNow looks to have plenty of tee times for Seascape and Kelly. Seascape's is a $45 all-you-can-play deal. If you booked one of the 7-8am tee times and got in 36, it'd be a heck of a deal.

Emerald Bay is a good course and Regatta is still my favorite in the area (followed closely by Raven and Kelly). You can search for another Destin thread or two where I broke down all the local courses in a little more detail.

Unfortunately, surgery has kept me from golfing at all this summer, so I can't comment on current condition other than to say that we've had plenty of rain (particularly this past week), so everything should be nice and green and soft. The fairway behind my dad's house at Bluewater Bay CC, is near perfect.
