The drinking thread got me wondering what pros you guys have seen toking on cigarettes during competitive rounds.

These are the guys I've seen doing it:
Spencer Levin
Fuzzy Zoeller
Ben Crenshaw
John Daly

Always found it to be amusing but it Seems like a dying thing. It's also funny how the TV cameras go out of the way to not show them puffing away.

Very obscure/little known pros, but I've seen Fulton Allem and Frank Lickliter III smoking cigarettes during a round at the SHO (many years ago).

And of course, Matt Every may "affiliate" with people who smoke a spliff every now and again, but I'm sure he never partakes.

Lickliter is awesome. We played behind him during his practice round trying to qualify for sho. We talked with him almost every hole because the course was so backed up. He was a pretty chill dude. Ultimate hustler type of guy.

I saw Tim Herron light up years ago at the Nelson. Dude must have a vendetta against health

Back in Arnie's day everybody smoked.Back in those days a dentist would be fixing your teeth with a lit stick in his piehole.

who was it that caught a replay showing them smoking and didnt like the way it looked so they stopped smoking during their rounds? Jack? I swear I've heard that story somewhere but cant remember anymore.

Arnie seems like quite the negative influince and definitely a bad ass.
