One of the guys in my playing group hit his first hole in one. 155 yards. Lands about two feet short and one foot right, bounces left and rolls in. Really awesome to see. I think I was shaking more than him!

Nah, an easy draw gap wedge for sure.

Hell who knows which club. I didn't ask and it doesn't matter.

Awesome

Our group gets real quiet. Nobody has gotten one yet, but at the old blaketree course that's now becoming bluejack I almost put one in on the first par 3 of the back 9 (hole 10 or 11 if I remember right). Missed the cup by a foot or so as it rolled past, but you could hear a pin drop as it hit the green and started rolling forward. Good times.

About a week after witnessing my first, I got my own! Of course, 15 years of golf prior and 15 years after - nada.

Good luck!

Uh, have you forgotten where you are? This is all that matters.

Voted down.

I lipped one out last weekend, closest I've ever been by a long shot..

I've witnessed 2 of my friends get aces in the past couple of years, it's pretty awesome just seeing one.

I finally saw one a couple of years ago in a city Am qualifier. Right into the sun and I watched it roll in like a putt. Guy was quite a bit older than me and couldn't see it land, and he thought it was long, but I told him it went in. We walked up to the green and he starts toward the rough in back, but I walk right over to the hole and there it is.

I had seen a fair share and had my own handful of close calls, but that was my first time to see one in person.

My luck hasn't changed...going on 0-for 30 years soon.

Craziest one I've seen is where there was a tree overhanging the front corner of the green. Ball hits the tree, ricochets toward the hole, and draino.

I've spent over 20 years as a single digit handicap and have never had one.

I've never had one.

I've twice been in the group, but have yet to actually "see" a ball fall in the hole.

First was #9 at Twin Creeks in Austin. I was back at the cart switching clubs when my friend drained it. Ball mark right next to the hole and sucked it back.

Second was #13 at Wildcat (Lakes Course) in Houston. The green's elevated a good 30 ft. from the tee, so you can't see it land. We knew the ball was on a good line, but my buddy thought he might be a little long. Nope. In the hole.

Have witnessed two, one, a buddy of mine we had to talk in to staying through a frost delay, he was ready to leave and not wait for the delayed start. Aced #17.

Another was a in a regular threesome of older guys, I was a single that joined them. Similar to the other story, they hit in the same order on every tee no matter the score. First guy hit it to within about 6 feet, was really pleased. Third guy hit it on line, bounced twice and from what I could tell hit the flag, but green was slightly tilted so I couldn't see the hole. I told him I thought it went in, they thought it went over the green (remember, older guys). Sure enough walking up to the green I only saw the 6 footer. The guy lost the hole with a birdie.

I've had 2, but that's not the point of the story.
