Wife is getting better and starting to play a lot more golf. Currently she is using her Mom's old clubs and she really needs her own clubs. I haven't bought clubs in a long time (I currently use X-12s) and need some help.

1) Where in Houston is a good place to go. Specifically on the west side?

2) What style would be good for her? Obviously they need to be light with a good amount of flex in the shaft but don't know much outside of that.

Womens' clubs are spensive

Women's clubs out of the box are designed that way.

I would (as always recommended here) have her try all the options and let her decide what is right.

If this is a gift get her a gift card and she can choose as well as get fitted.

My wife plays Ping clubs and she loves them. I think she has 3 or 4 irons, a few wedges, and 2 or 3 hybrids in the set. Not sure what we paid for it since she bought it on her own but she enjoys playing now much more since the clubs are so forgiving.

I bought my wife a set of Adams Golf- Ladies Speedline Complete Set with Bag. I think it was around $300. Came with the bag, irons and woods/hybirds. It is actually a pretty decent looking set and seems fairly easy to use.
