I don't want to start another Bryan superpark argument(go to the aggieland forum another already started) but what do you think about the proposed 5 hole course in the eagle? Has or would anyone play anything other than a 9 or 18? I wouldn't.

You would think they would be smart enough to do a 9 hole par 3 if anything. If that was lighted at night it would be pretty slick. But I'd rather they just leave the muni alone.

After my bitterness passed I would play it.
"Worse Case" and I still be happy would be a night light par three to play after work. I would wear it out. They could use a driving range too.

Not that I want to see anything happen to muni. Just a thought.

Not that I live near there, but 5 holes is dumb. Agree make it a Par 3 and light it up. That would be pretty cool.

The entire idea is ridiculous.

However, I would definitely play it, probably quite a bit. But a six hole course would make more sense. 1/3rd of normal course and you could play in about an hour.

They would have to price it right. $10 to go around once. It would be great after work.

I'd never pay to play at a 5-hole course.

I'd play a three hole course if there was one available near me. A five hole course I could play in an hour would be great for when I can't get away for over 5 hours for a full round of golf.

I've only played two rounds in three months because I haven't had a 5 hour block available to get away and play a full round. I could have played a lot more if a 5 hole goat farm was available. Expectations would be dirt low of course though.

As long as the price point was right... I'd play a quick 5 holer

Why 5 instead of 6 holes? Just think the even number makes more sense, but that's just me.

Interesting concept, although to the point above, I'd make it 6 instead of 5 so there is the option for people to do a 3 lap 18.

I think it would need to be lit to have success though. I think there are very few that would go play 6 vs. just playing 9 somewhere. It's not usually difficult to squeeze 9 holes of twilight golf in very quickly.

The reason there are 18 holes is because that is exactly the number of shots in a bottle of scotch!

5 isn't enough... I've voting against this thread!

I think golf needs more 9 hole courses. That said a 6 hole course could be played in around an hour and would be perfect for a stop on the way home.

I wouldn't bother to load my gear, drive to a 5 hole course, and wait 10-20 minutes on the first tee....even after work.

9 hole courses can even be a problem, pace of play can get slooooowwww when players finishing the first nine start doubling back to play the second nine...and I've experienced that at 9 holers in the middle of nowhere much less in a community the size of B/CS.

Just my experience and my opinion.
