As an Aggie in Lubbock, the actions of the fan was the least surprising thing that happened in the game. I've had things said to me in the mall while wearing my Aggie ring that I couldn't repeat to my mother.

But, Smart should have had more control.

You know that loser said something over the line to smart. He shouldn't have responded but I don't blame him.

I agree you never shove a fan like that....dumb move. However, some fans think just because they are a big supporter of the team or they paid for their ticket that it gives them a right to say or do whatever they want. Being that this guy has a history I am sure it was something more than "good game"

Smart's gonna say it was racist. Someone in the crowd may well have used the N-word, but I know Jeff Orr and it wasn't him. He'll say a lot of on-the-borderline stuff to get under the other team's skin but nothing racist. (FYI, he lives in Waco and he and his wife are at pretty much every Tech home game, and most road games as well).

I wish Aggie basketball team and fans had the enthusiasm that was on display in Lubbock tonight. Sad to see what's become of Aggie hoops.
