EDITED TO INCLUDE TRUE MONDAY NUMBERS...SUNDAY NUMBERS ORIGINALLY POSTED BY MISTAKE.
Good week for the Ags and we were rewarded with a handsome jump up the RPI rankings. However, the room for error is still very small and more road wins (I'm looking at you, Rice) are necessary. Here's where we stand after a 3-1 week with a win over PVAMU and a 2-1 record on the road at Vandy.
NOTES:
** Not sure how they did it, but UT-Arlington made a 100 point jump over last Monday's ranking.
** Check out Columbia getting back in the top 100.
** Unfortunately, also check out SFA falling below the #100 mark.
** Georgia (80 to 63 to 44) and Arkansas (115 to 86 to 71) have been rocketing up the rankings over the past few weeks.
** And despite our failures this year (La. Tech, Sacramento State, Fresno x3), the Ags quietly have a 4-3 record vs. top 15 teams. Give us even 2 wins of the 5 horrible non-conference losses we have and the Ags would virtually be making post-season plans already.
