Lamar has wins over both UH and Rice this year...but also losses to Pan Am, Illinois-Chicago, Marist, Texas Southern and Harvard, which explains the #187 RPI number.

So #4 RPI South Carolina drops back-to-back mid-week games to #258 Charleston Southern and #182 The Citadel.

Kentucky up to #10 in the RPI

Gamecocks drop to #8 in the RPI. Giving the committee a reason to not award them a national seed if they don't win the East division.

SCar (28-9) started the season 16-0...only 12-9 since

2 wins over UK should push the Ags into the top 40

W-You sure? It doesn't seem like we've been getting great bumps from home wins anymore no matter how good the opponent RPI.

By the way, anyone remember the the RPI spreadsheet predictor someone used to post where you could plug in wins and losses and see the RPI move up and down? Loved that!

it will depend on what the 10 teams in front of the Ags do this weekend, but I definitely think a series win over Kentucky put the Ags on the right side of the bubble at 9-9 in the SEC.

It would be the Ags 3rd series win over a top 20 RPI opponent. Few teams in the country can claim that. Do need Vandy to bounce back this weekend at Arkansas

W-Tough competition ahead but I feel this team surging for the stretch run! Hopefully we will be far onto the correct side of the bubble come Selection Monday.
