Torre did not take a team to the WS until his 15th season as a manager. Not arguing one way or the other just trying to show the facts can be more or less skewed to make them what you want.

Sterling is a troll. Professionally. I recognize him and the people responding to him, so I don't know how he gets so many bites for every comment.

Thanks for the heads up, fellas. I recognize his handle, but guess I've not paid close enough attention to his patterns.

One thing I'll say about RC, just about every season in late April his teams turn it on. The year we backed into the big 12 title is about the only yea rican think of where we didn't play really good baseball from about mid April to mid May. His problem has been carrying that into June (and some years the team stalled out even a little earlier than June).
