Hate to say it, but Mia just got tight and choked that match away. Was up 9-3 in the second set tiebreak and missed a few floaters to win the match. Gotta learn from that.
Aggies are 2-0 in SEC play.

I felt for her. That put away at 10-9 doesn't get much easier. Fortunately, match was decided.aggiedrjdub said:

Need I say more.
yes - i really think playing doubles has helped her be more prepared for singles. i did not think we would lose 3, 4, and 5 singles, so picking up a win at 6 was so important. just goes to show how important doubles is, and this team, although fantastic, is bit more susceptible to an upset than previous years. i also don't think you can really count line 3 singles as a total loss when having to play a super breaker instead of a full set. mia was clearly on a roll and i think would have won a full set pretty easily. also have to realize that once south carolina (against daria) and florida (against mia) realized they had lost, their players literally have nothing to lose. just hit out on the ball - if you win, bonus, if you don't, oh well. daria has to get off to better starts and quit playing from behind so much to take the pressure. i was surprised to see lulu go down so convincingly yesterday. not her best match. but, this is tennis and anything can happen on any given day.B$Weigem said:

Looks like they pulled the remaining matches. Not sure why they don't play them out.
