Timara Chapman 5457pt A nearPB mark in 800 would net her around 6250-6270 pts.
That would be #1 in the country, pretty close to breaking or surpassing Tyra Gitten's meet record, and solidifying
her qualification for Nationals. She has obviously thrived in her training here at A&M. Great performances!

Joniar Thomas is currently at 5152pts going into 800 and a mark near her PB would place her close to her
Hept PB of 5967. If their 800s are close to those they could move to 1 & 2 in the nation and that would probably move A&M women to #1 in the next index possibly.

They both run 2:24 n.eting 762 pts. Joniar 1 sec off her 800 PB and Timara about 9 seconds off her 800 PB.

They go 1 & 2 in the Heptathlon and will probably now sit 1 & 2 in the nation!!!!!!!!!!! Gig 'em!

Chapman's score is the second best in the NCAA since Anna Hall went pro two years ago. Would have won NCAA's last year as well.

Our woman's team is starting to put it together! If Abigail Martin can perform like that on a big stage as well as Nissi Kabongo in the 400 hurdles, we'll have points coming from a lot of areas! I really hope our 4x100 can put it together! I'm excited to see what Laila Hackett can do today!

After a poor showing in the pole vault, Harris and Helms both bounce back in the javelin with 2 PB's

Blake Harris picks up his Hep PB by nearly 250 points and Landon Helms picks his up by 120! Great showing by the young men!

Those would be National #4 & #8 on last week's performance lists for the men's decathlon. Once tfrrs is updated tonight we will know more certainty of our decathletes. They look to be in good shape for qualifying for Nationals at this point in the season. Someone noted, however, that Landon Helms social media page denoted he would be starting a missionary trip in two months. I don't know if those plans preempt the national meet or not but those could be very important points in a close meet if he qualifies.

I doubt they would have let him compete outdoors if it would have affected this season.

Any of you track fans know why Chung pulled out of the 5k at the 2 mile mark last night? Guy for rice pulled out a couple laps later, they were in front when they stopped.

Wind readings seem to be excessive! So nothing 200 and below would count as a PR!
