Goodness it's quiet in here.
As you can see I'm feeling better.
Life is busy. I've tried to be on when I can be.
What's new? What have I missed?

Not using my main account for personal reasons

Obligatory **** cancer.

After some routine check ups that required a biopsy, my wife has endometrial cancer. The Dr legitimately described it as "the bad kind". Hysterectomy is in a week and we are hoping it hasn't spread. Trying to be the supportive "rock" but damn it sucks sometimes.

An Update:

The hysterectomy was today and cancer was worse than expected. uterus, ovaries, and some lymph nodes had to be removed. Won't know for another two weeks if they got it all out or chemo/radiation will be needed. so yeah, not an ideal situation.

Thoughts and prayers for her.
I'm sure that's a tough blow.
You should go to TJMax or somewhere and
get her a nice new fuzzy blanket.
Fuzzy blankets always make me feel better.

I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 25 years ago. I was 43.
Had total hysterectomy.
Did 6 rounds of chemo. Been cancer free.
All this to say...It's hard. Trust your oncologist. They're the best of the best.
Pray. A lot.
Lean on your family and friends. They will help.
I'll be praying for you both.

I am sorry y'all are going through this. Friends and family should reach out to help you. Let them.

They can't fix your wife. Let them do something to help. It will be good for you and good for them.

This post makes me sad. I hope you get her to some great doctors. Cancer treatment has come a long way

When is her PET scan?

The best update possible. Cancer has not spread, stage 1A, no chemo, no radiation, no further treatment for now. Just a follow up in 3 months.
