I didn't even know this movie had been made, saw it was on one of the premium channels the other day, had solid reviews and recorded it. Just finished it.

Ben Kingsley finds an alien in his back yard and they become friends. Anyone else seen it?

Surprisingly good. Funny, sad, heartwarming, among other things. Would recommend.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this was Vincent's line in the diner in Pulp Fiction: "Jules, you give that nimrod fifteen hundred dollars and I'll shoot him on G.P.!"
