Here. I'll never forget sprinting to the stack at 2:50 am and the sights I saw.

Mr. and Mrs. Kerlee, it was very good to have met you, thank you for the energy & spirit you brought out there, and the time you gave talking with me while walking back. Be sure we'll always remember.

Here. I think about this often and I never knew your son, but because of this thread, I will never forget him.

I've not had the opportunity to read this entire thread and the following sentiment may have already been expressed but it's one I don't think can be expressed often enough.

As an older Ag many times I see current students saying, writing or doing things that don't fit with what an Aggie is supposed to represent. Things such as booing at athletic events, being dismissive of others or just flat being a jerk.

Then along comes someone like Tim Kerlee. A young Aggie one wouldn't think has had time to absorb all that it means to be an Aggie, displaying to the world exactly what an Aggie is. A person in a dire situation refusing help until all others around him are helped first. I can't help but think that Tim knew he was seriously injured but totally disregarded the possible consequences of not getting off the stack as soon as possible in order that others might be saved.

I also believe that God knew how Tim would react in that situation and made sure the angel was there to help Tim do what he did for the others. I took the time once to read all the citations in the MSC for the Medal of Honor winners from the different wars. What Tim did that night was no less heroic nor self-sacrificing than any of those and he will always, in my mind, be listed on the same page of heroes as all of them. God bless Tim and God comfort his family.

Today is Tim's birthday. He would have been 27. We still miss you very much and are proud of all you stood for.
Love,

I was thinking of Tim and the others tonight ... came here and saw your post.

I continue to pray for you. I don't know how you do it. Then again, your faith is awe-inspiring.

Gig'em, Tim. And Happy Birthday, Ag.

Haven't been on the bonfire forum in years, but for some reason- just out of the blue last night- I was thinking about that photo of Tim on the stack. So powerful.
