Just a thought on why the "set".

Presuming his dementia is progressing the way dementia does, this set may be more secure to contain first hand knowledge of it. I think a lot of WH staff, particularly maintenance and servants are long time, so have no particular loyalty to Biden. Also much harder to contain leaks from that staff and they're around all of the time.

If you confine him to the private quarters and make all public appearances on this set, maybe it's easier to keep a lid on just how bad he's getting.

I suspect we're 6 - 18 months from it being impossible to hide.
