What's been your salary history in 5 year increments? If you haven't worked for 5 years, put your starting salary and current. Industry and college major would be helpful as well.

Probably should have studied harder.
I could be making maybe $100,000 and in 2 more weeks I would have been eligible for a pension. Oh well.

Just realized that I earn almost 10x what I was making as a 2LT. Wow. And I'm just as broke.

Crap. Posting from my phone while riding a city bus in Sydney. I thought I was on the General Board. Sorry for the out of character post for the Job Board.

2007- 24,440
2013- 37,500

The only major pay increases I've received are from changing jobs (~20% each job change, vs. max of 3% if I stayed).

Current - 1.45 X

X is under $30,000, so needless to say, I'm not banking. Trying to find that right job/field where I can make more based on my potential. So far, not working out.

I start crying inside whenever I see anyone post salaries. I definitely went to the wrong field.

Just curious, but what part of healthcare? I'm in the industry and I'm considering moving around a bit.

I wouldn't feel too bad AeroAg2003 - your 1x was a heckuva lot higher than my 1x
I'm sure you were making at least twice what a US Army 2LT makes when you started in SoCal

HS Buddy was working for Lockheed Martin, moved from San Diego to Fort Worth. Salary stayed about the same but the Taxes and cost of living went down. Way down.

As a guy I was in the Army with (from Delta State University) said, "It ain't about how much you make, it's about how much you got to pay".
