I could live quite comfortably off of the interest on $100 million. How the heck do these people keep ending up in this situation?
Never mind, I know the answer. But still...

Thank you for posting.
I was having a bad day, but seeing someone else going through financial struggles has made me feel better about myself and my life decisions.

America is set up for the rich to remain rich. Anyone who burns through that kind of money is genuinely on of the most stupid people to ever exist.

It's gotta be a double whammy sorta situation doesn't it? He's selling off his stuff because he made a lot of poor life choices... but doesn't the fact that he's made a bunch of poor life choices also drive down the price tag of his memorabilia?

And it's not like he had a short career - like most NFL RBs do
He played in 15 NFL seasons, and he went to 7 pro bowls. He had plenty of time to learn and grow up, financially.
He could have blown through his rookie money, declared bankruptcy and built it all back times 5.
To stay that financially stupid for that long is inexcusable.

Most people in this country live beyond their means and are 2 or 3 paychecks away from being broke.
