Not necessarily a kill, (but that's fine) but your favorite picture taken in the outdoors. This one is from the last time my Dad and I got to hunt together, in 2005. We were deer/bear hunting on Rich Mountain in WV, and got caught in an early October winter storm. We didn't kill anything but time and a bottle, but made some great memories.

Great Topic!
I have a lot of favorites but here are two of my all time favorites. The first one was taken off of the porch of the cabin where we spent our honeymone at Lake Crescent on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State.
The second was also taken during our honeymoon. We were on a 5 or 6 mile hike down through the woods and out to a beach and we walked pretty close to this yearling Blacktail buck bedded down. He sure posed for us!

Rocky Mountain National Park on a day hike with the wife on Labor Day Weekend in 2004. First part of the morning I got this nice pic.

Same hike later that day, once we reached Mills Lake. Probably my favorite picture I've ever taken outdoors.

Last year I got to go on a varmint hunt from a helicopter at my buddy's 8500 acre ranch down in south Texas. Here are a few of the pics.
Pic taken from a helicopter.
A pic of a horse and some cattle.
A pic of a buck running. (He's at the bottom of the pic)
I'm right, you're wrong, have a nice day!

Here are a couple that I've taken thru the years, but most of them are from this year due to my new camera.
And finally, one my buddy took at High Island a couple years ago. He had offers from magazines for it, but never followed up.

Ok, here is my favorite (or 3).
I'm tellin ya, I love them so much it physically hurts.
My daughter's first kill:
From their first hunt:
Them spotting a deer track and showing me. ; )
Another new favorite of me and someone who is more family to me than the bunch of b**tholes I am actually related to (not talking about my wife and kids!).

Apache: Your pic wins. Wow, that is awesome. You need to sell that to a trade magazine in the firefighting business.
