0.97" last 24 hrs near Brownwood. 2.58" in last 7 days. More forecast for this afternoon
Looks like Brownwood area has lots of storms now
I wound up with 2.14" at my house saturday overnight. Folks around me picked up much much more which is great. Look like the Lake Brownwood watershed got a good bit and lake is up 3' or so. I believe is still 3-4 feet below spillway but is a nice spring so far

That tornado siren was there to save your life, not serve as ambience for your video.

Drove into Wimberley with the family tonight from Houston just in time to park at our rental and get hit by golfball sized hail. 3x vehicles with smashed windshields, body damage. To top it off, the hail took out our rental central HVAC compressor and fast rising water/ice put flood water into one of the guest rooms.

Why can none of this heavy rain hit the Choke or Mathis watershed????
Being in TexAgs jail changes a man……..no, not really

not too surprising. Both those rivers (Frio/Nueces) flow through traditionally arid country. That region gets 20-30 inches of rain a year max.

Maybe you'll get hit with a late June/early July tropical storm or Hurricane

If this is the watershed for Choke, we got a decent amount of rain over the last two months in this area. Got about 2.5" just today in Atascosa County. Also had some pretty good hail and possible tornado in Poteet.

We had over 5" at our ranch in San Saba County last week and it looks like the storm today dumped another 2-2/12" on us, with more to come. All stock tanks are as full as can get and the Richland Creek is up big, Along with the Colorado River at FM 45.

Not sure if we got any rain out near Concan with today's storms. It's green but creeks could use some more water.

It's an old fashion turd floater in Bryan today. Haven't seen it rain this hard in a long time. My guess is we've had 2 inches in the past hour since it started.

Another 2 1/2 inches in Lampasas on top of already saturated ground. My front yard is a lake, but I will never complain about too much rain.

The new owner of the ranchito is getting familiar with just how much water can come down the Leon River….
