So the entertainment board has a "new guitar day thread" which is pretty great and I don't even enjoy guitars all that much. Would love the Outdoors Board to have a similar type thread for guns so I am going to start it off with this Super Black Eagle 3 I bought today in Abilene at Abilene Indoor Gun Range.

Wood and Would!
Today, unfortunately, many Americans have good reason to fear that they will be victimized if they are unable to protect themselves. And today, no less than in 1791, the Second Amendment guarantees their right to do so. - Justice Samuel Alito 2022

I didn't buy anything today, but since AFT already knows about these two since I immediately filed form 1s on them (plus the illegal records they've been keeping) I guess I can share my most recent buys….
I debated for a while between the full size and the K.
So I compromised and got both.

How old is too old for a gun to qualify for this thread? Else I too, may be forced to participate here.malenurse said:

This is my most recent purchase but it's a couple weeks old, 20" octagonal barrel Winchester 94 30-30 Buffalo Bill commemorative made in 1968.

Had my biggest new gun day ever a couple months ago. Each box has 3-4 guns in it. Turns out I'm really good at winning auctions.
Took me over 3 hours just to unwrap them all.
Then another couple of days to modify the gun rack in the vault to make it a double stack.

I get around to shooting the Lage M11/9 only once every 2 years on average. I really should shoot it more, especially now that I have a suppressor that fits it.
Oh and before any hate, the only part of that truck that wasn't completely rusted out or destroyed was the driver's door you see. It was a yard ornament but a tree fell on it and crushed the fenders, hood, roof and passenger door. My dad had it towed to the junkyard shortly after this without telling me, making my lifelong dream of having a shooting car short lived.

Thats awesome.
I have roller guns in .308, 5.56 and 9mm so I'd love to pick up an HK sear someday.
Don't have enough of an ammo fort to justify it though.
Yet.

Snagged a Glock 45 a week or two ago, I was pleased to find out it takes the same mags as my Sub 2000. I put 200 rounds through it and didn't have to load a mag at the range.

Walked out today with another P320. Didn't have a desert tan M17 in the lineup, so figured why not.

Lost this fun guy in a tragic fishing accident near Dam B recently.
DM me if any of you guys are out that way and snag it casting from the shoreline.

I have acquired both a new production Marlin 1894 in .357/.38 and an older Glock 20(10mm) in trades for puppies in the last couple of weeks. Both have been to the range and are great shooters. My boy and nephew are going to shoot all the .38 158 grain they want on Saturday at the end of the day.
In January I traded an XD 40 for a Glock 42. Both like new. Fair trade.
Last gun a paid for was a S&W model 27-8 Lew Horton. Bought it in September off a website/meet up in Coryell Co for I think $1400 with some ammo. In 95% condition with no Lew Horton paperwork but correct serial number. It is my favorite shooter of many many revolvers I own.

I'm man enough to admit I would never want to shoot that .500 mag. My wrist would never forgive me!Bregxit said:
