What's this old tractor worth?

Someone has shown interest in buying it and wants to know what I want for it.
I had very little involvement with it and never used it.
It's been sitting there on the family property broken for about 5 years. I think it had compression issues. It is a gasoline version and there is an old box blade not pictured too. That's all I've got.

Thanks for any help!

Is the government still giving out money for old tractors for emissions reductions?

Don't believe those grants go to gas engines only diesels. And they have to buy new equipment to qualify.

Need the model #. Roughly $3-5k would be my guess since it's not running.

State grants that can be used to upgrade tractors. Some hoops to jump through but pretty lucrative.

Looks like lots of good grants available...unless you live on a farm

Serial number plate should be on the back, near the hydraulic hoses/

I'm guessing it's a 3020

I found the missing panels with the model number in the garage closet just now.

It is a 3020.

No seat and no steering wheel? Perfect for farmers who have lost their a$$ and don't know which way to turn?

my vote is to paint it up and get it running to drive in the 4th of July parade!

Click the pictures to zoom and see that there are both a seat and a steering wheel.

If someone hasn't already, go put a coffee can over the exhaust so it won't rain down in the manifold. (provided it doesn't have some downturned exhaust we can't see)

Thank you. Looks like more "free $$$" coming out. I want to see the list to see if it makes sense, but am in the wrong counties.

Here's your best comparison for a refurbished one.

As is, I stick to the $3-5k range. Maybe $7500 if you find the right guy.

This would be a fair price range for as is, where is in my opinion. Assuming the tires are good, the loader adds value as does the mentioned box blade. Worst case senario, it's scrap iron value would be around 1,000.

On tractor house.com I see some running priced in the 7,000 range.

Exhaust stack is missing. You can barely see the hole in the hood in the front view.

Just sold a couple of my dads old tractors. Maybe $3500 if it will at least run.

If it's just been sitting around broken for 5 years, it ain't worth that much to you!

Hence my suggestion to cover the open manifold.

It doesn't belong to me. I was just told to deal with it, and get a reasonable deal. I just want to make sure I'm getting an ok deal, and that it's not worth more than we thought.

I found the exhaust manifold. No idea why someone took it off, but it's going back on today.

Depends on if it runs. Im into restoring stuff myself, and if it doesn't run or you can't prove it to run, my price is 800-1000 depending on how bad I want it. I've had people give me tractors for free just to get them off their property. If it runs, and it keeps running, and it doesn't smoke, you can command considerably higher prices.

I wouldn't bother putting it on. As center pole says, it needs to be covered, but damage is already done. Next buyer is scrapping it or doing an overhaul

$500 sells today.
$1000 sells this month.
$3000 might sell this year

A lot of smaller JD like that with FEL also have cracked front wheel spindles from overloading the bucket and hitting bumps that cause it to bounce.

Changed spindles twice in my old 50 HP moving round bales.

$1000 if it includes the box blade
