I don't know how many people really look at their phone bill Wow, talk about nickel and diming people to death.....

Here's my "additional fees."

Federal Universal Service Charge $0.62
Regulatory Cost Recovery Charge $1.50
TX State Cost Recovery Charge $0.28
Texas Universal Service $0.45
Government fees & taxes $2.42
9-1-1 Service Fee $0.50
911 Equalization Surcharge $0.06
City Sales Tax $0.24
City Sales Tax - Telecom $0.12
County Sales Tax $0.08
TX State Sales Tax $1.00
TX State Sales Tax - Telecom $0.42

Frontier charges $2.99 to mail your bill to you instead of opting for emailing it.

I'm not sure what Frontier, a private company, charges for mailing bills has to do with all the government required fees charged on my phone bill. You have choices there. These are government fees and I am guessing the same regardless of the telephone service you sign up with.

BTW, I have no bills sent to me in the mail. All are emails. that I drag each one into a folder on a storage drive. For tax purposes, I go to their site and print a monthly list of the bills to total for business deduction use.

lol. I got a 'phonebook' in the mail yesterday.

First time in years, I think.

Almost as thick as the catalogs I get.
