This place has constant drama. Its also one of those places that enjoys constant media coverage for some reason.

Killen's BBQ is another that gets constant free coverage, but without the drama.

Killins should come out with a dress code!

So, would this be a opportunity for someone to put in an offer to take over the business?

Would you have to assume all the unpaid debt of the Hut? If so, you would be better opening up a Turkey Leg Shak nearby.
No reason for checks to be bouncin'... "It's money in that account."

Does setting a fire for insurance fraud ever work in reality?

How many times has Cleburne Cafeteria burned and then rebuilt a better place?

I've seen that before.

A rib restaurant in my hometown had an impressive collection of art. The owner was into it.

They had a fire while all the art had been removed and sent to a professional cleaner in Houston.

The timing was incredibly fortunate.

Standing in line in the 3rd Ward with a bunch of folks that needed to have a dress code so you didnt wear your house robe or just your underwear to get a turkey leg, actually never appealed to me…

Counterpoint: These are two of the top three attire options before consuming a delicious turkey leg.

I was driving my daughter's SUV around to tend the battery while she was on an overseas assignment. I tended to drive around for awhile to places I don't go often or have never been.

Went last Turkey Leg Hut right after they opened and wished I had been able to film it to go back and see if I really saw what I think I saw.

It was quite an interesting group in that long line.

I kept going towards downtown and ended up seeing the three-wheelers and four-wheelers that like to do street takeovers. They were all over the place.

Funny story from the owner, son of the original founder. When the arson investigator asked him if he'd ever thought of burning the place down, he said "Oh yeah, every day of my life."

I bet that US Foods sales rep has some explaining to do.
