I think there's one on the south loop between Schlotzkys and the Jalapeño Tree. I don't know it it's still open or not.

Don't know reason, but yes they backed out.

Apparently another lease already pending signatures for that location now. Should hear more Friday.

Traditions in Tyler officially closed! 23 years strong.
Bummer. They catered our company Christmas party just a few weeks ago. I'd have gone there more often, but would rather take a beating than drive with S. Broadway's idiots anymore.

Guess I'm 30 years above whatever age didn't eat there, lol. And I miss Luby's, too.

No sir, think I went there once, probably 20 years ago and no desire to go back.

Loggins is a completely different story.

Building a Nobilitea in front of Traditions next to the new Chili's

Wow….that seems a bit ambitious unless they're considering shutting down the other one. The same crowds that use the original are the ones that will likely use this one.

Keep driving past new Country Kitchen where old Liangs was on loop and Paluxy. Absolute worst food I have ever had in Tyler- school lunch rooms are better. Wasted money and wife was unhappy to boot.

Is Enoch in Tyler still owned by an Aggie?

Enoch's Stomp is a winery and restaurant in Harleton. I think the Tyler location is just wine & coffee. I believe it's still open.

New Nobilitea location next to the new Chili's on Broadway.

Anyone try the Catch me if you can permanent home on 155 north of 344, in old building that the "Dock" was in? I had heard the food from food truck was excellent, but just never got around to going, plus like to sit and eat because good stuff is too far from home for take out.

Food truck is amazing, have not been to fixed location.

I have been to both C Rojo's places (truck and S Broadway in corner of gas station by Braum's) both were great!

We went to catch me if you can last night. Got the last inside table at 5:45. Wife had grilled shrimp dirty rice and veggies. I had fried fish and shrimp . All were excellent! Saw the plate of Cajun fries- so huge even guys were asking for take home.
Will go back, but hopefully when it cools off. We are old and don't like eating late suppers. They don't quite have the kitchen dining area figured out yet. Probably need a bus boy they can't find. But food is good enough to overlook that!
Outside dining looked good for us when it cools, and they have guy on guitar.

Seemed to have good feedback overall, but apparently a stark turn once initial ownership sold out.

Only went there one time. The lamb I got was straight up jerky. Toughest piece of meat I've ever eaten.

Tiba basically next door, not sure why you'd ever go to Athena.

Athena had great hummus. Their gyro was good too.
Tiba is better for everything else though. Their hummus is good but we liked Athena more.

Selfishly I'm a 2 minute drive away. But yes, tough to stay there forever. A Tyler staple most assuredly.
