Ate at a place called The Catch near UT East Texas on 5th Avenue a couple of months ago. It was pretty good. Might try their grilled catfish with crawfish sauce sometime.

Good, but don't like their sides. Have you tried Bodacious on 155? Friday and Sundays- very good, unless they have changed cooks-which they did one time.

Wade's Place out in Chandler is good.
Also, Krazy Cajun on Paluxy. They have pretty good red beans and rice, too.

Oysters on the half shell very good at The Catch. Fresh and $15.99 a dozen- best price around. That particular location is probably the best I've eaten at in that chain.

Just ate at The Catch and the catfish was aweful.
I was amazed how much they served for the price then realized that it is NOT USA catfish.

Saturday Night Special - Fried catfish served over a bed of crawfish etouffee and rice! Worth the trip every time.

Went to Wades last night, and line was out the door. Groups of people there. I think they had some kind of crawfish special. We left and went to Bodacious on 155. The Catfish was great. You get 4 big pieces with one side for $14 and two sides $16.
Also when in Longview, and it is as strange as fish at barbecue place, the catfish at Flying burger is really good. Plus, instead of complimentary beans, they have crockpot full of collard greens!

Vaughn's is still open off of 21, across from Bob Sandlin State park in Pittsburg. It's still pitch til you win, or you can get a plate with the set up, Ala David Beards 155 location. Whole or filets.

Vaughan's is our go too, grew up eating there and make it a point every time I am home. Bit of a drive from Tyler or Longview, but it is in middle of Pitt, MV, MP so easy if you are further north to go try out.
