Had never heard of a Kaiser Darrin until I stumbled across one on BaT. Sliding doors? Yes please.

One of these was just shown on Ep 5 of Fallout with the sliding door in action. Really cool.

It unfortunately costs a heart-stopping amount of money.

Pretty much any from FJ.co but this is a random one from their site.

Loved this movie when I was a little kid. I keep threatening to make my wife watch it. No idea who'll hate it more today.

A Glickenhaus Boot would be pretty cool to drive around.

Don't know why, but this reminded me of a Schwimmwagen. Now that would be both ridiculous and fun. Probably get in trouble with the HOA sailing around in our neighborhood lake, though.

I'll add one more . I saw this as a really young kid at a car show. It's one of the silliest designs ever but if we are going with any car scenarios id add this on there .

After watching that, I do NOT want one. Even for the novelty

I've always wanted a Suzuki Samurai. Doesn't make sense for my family of 4 with two small kids, so I've got a Wrangler JLU. But damn, these things are sweet. Especially swapped with a 1.6 or 2.0 even.

Doesn't get much more ridiculous than this, but I'd still pimp the hell out of one of these…

Does a TRX count as a ridiculous vehicle? They seem ridiculous to me but I can't eliminate my desire to own one.

I never wanted a TRX until I saw this. Now I want one, this one.

I love the idea of those rigs. Then I try to figure out where I can use one. You can't take it off trail in 99% of the US, and they are too damn big to take up Jeep trails and such.

But you sure can front on those fools down at the Whole Foods with the roof top tents on a 4-Runner.

Nissan Pulsar NX. I thought they were cool when I was a kid and would absolutely run around in one of these if I could.

Also a Colony Park. We had a Caprice wagon growing up but I like Ford's interior more. I'd absolutely carpool my kids every now and then if I had one of these!

Yes, instead of Dream Cars, my focus was ridiculous. But I'm not going to grouch about what people post. This is more the type of car I was thinking of:

As a teen in the 80s living in Corpus Christi here are a couple of cars I saw all the time that I wanted badly.

Used to see the VW Thing on the beach all the time and a buddy of mine had the Brat, it was a blast sitting in the jump seat in the bed driving across the sand at Muatang Island.
