looks like in 1 month of time restricted feeding you have lost as much as you did in the previous 4 months before doing that. Keep it up I bet you can easily lose another 30-40 by the end of the year and will be within striking distance of your goals

My experience is, anytime I eat carbs at dinner, I will gain weight that night. IF you must have carbs, limit them and do them at lunch.

Zoodles are a good substitute for pasta. (Make or buy the bigger "noodles", the small ones can kind of disintegrate when cooked). I'll also eat spaghetti sauce over steamed veggies instead of pasta. Not TOO much different from pasta and you can still eat what the rest of the family is eating. Similarly, Cauliflower rice is a good sub for regular. It comes in steamable bags, just pop in the microwave for 5 minutes.

Try to choke down a whole gallon of water a day! And also, if you're weighing every day expect a fluctuation of a pound or two - perfectly normal. The key is you want your Friday morning to Friday morning weight to be in a slow, steady decline.

Keep it up!

25 lbs from your starting weight in 6 months, well done!
I'm in a similar boat, would like to lose weight by getting more active and eating better.

I specifically like your approach because it's simple to do food-wise, nothing crazy. You have pretty good variety too. It's often hard for me to think of what to eat, so I'll definitely be using some of your meals here... Good luck BQ!

Have decided to start planning next week's meals on Friday. I find that over the weekend I want to put it off and end up scrambling to throw together something for a store run. I also was not planning my days to have a low calorie "fast day" and they are tending to be haphazard at best. So here are the meals and schedule for next week

Pan Fried Catfish with Greens (spinach, collard, mustard) and Fried okra
Meatloaf with green beans and mashed sweet potatoes
Grilled/baked chicken with mixed salad
Tuna Steaks with pasta salad / mixed green salad

Schedule:
Sunday
Dinner: Tuna Steaks with salad
Monday
Lunch: Tuna Steak and pasta salad
Dinner: Grilled/Baked Chicken with Salad
Tuesday Fast Day
Lunch: Mixed Salad with boiled Egg and veggies
Dinner: Catfish Greens and Okra
Wednesday
Lunch: Catfish Greens and Okra
Dinner: Meatloaf with Green Beans and Sweet Potatoes
Thursday Fast Day
Lunch: Mixed Salad with Egg and veggies
Dinner: Grilled/Baked Chicken with Salad
Friday
Lunch: Grilled chicken Cobb salad Chick Fila
Dinner: Meatloaf with Green Beans and Sweet Potatoes
Saturday
Late Breakfast/Lunch: Omelet
Dinner: Eat out

My hope is low 240's by New Years. A lot of family birthdays and holiday meals coming up though. But, that is part of life so will be good to learn how to deal with it in a healthy manner

If you continue to feed your body with what you've put into it the last 6 weeks or so vs. what you were earlier in the thread, you will be just fine with the holiday meals.
