Everyone knows that for a thread to be "official," it must contain the following things:

1. FIVE * on both sides of the text of the thread title.
2. The word "official" in the thread title. (Capitalization of OFFICIAL isn't necessary, but it is encouraged.)
3. Usage of the blue star emoticon in the initial post.

For example, in order for this thread to be official, it'd have to look like this:
