I am a current student of life. Does that count?

TexAgs Premium is FREE for all current students
By TexAgs
November 24, 2014
Before A&M faced LSU on Thanksgiving 2014, we promised to make TexAgs Premium free for current students if the Aggies won. Well, after they lost in a heartbreaking fashion, we decided that we weren't going to add insult to injury, and make it free anyway! That means that all current Texas A&M students* have FREE access to TexAgs Premium 🙌
All you have to do is use your TAMU email email address when you sign up for a free account — see how below. Once you've verified your email address*, you'll have access to all of TexAgs' Premium content, our TexAgs Premium forum and the Student Section forum starting ... NOW. Your subscription will be read-only, which just means you can read until your heart's content, but you just won't be able to post on any Premium forum. You'll still be able to post on other forums, of course.
How to Register
1) If you do not have a TexAgs account, click here to register.
2) Once you've registered, click here to verify your student status.
3) CELEBRATE.
*Student status is solely determined by Texas A&M University College Station campus's public information directory. No other means of student status verification is available.

I'm a re-admitted student that already has an account.
What steps do I follow?

So this might be a dumb question, but last year I remember the deal being we got free premium for year after the LSU game. It's been a year and I still have premium so I assume it's just gonna stay like this for undergrad?

Hey Stewade,
I'm getting this message when I try to refresh my AgTag Status:
We were unable to update your Association account data due to the following error: Unable to secure access token.
I'm not even listed as a former student now after graduation.

Stewade,
Graduated in December, just began graduate school this week. I am still listed as a former student on my profile and have tried the various steps to change my tag. Any help?

This reminds me of the scene in Caddyshack when adult swim is over and the kids attack the pool. Just waiting for the doodie to surface now.

Because of this I canceled my subscription. No way should my payments subsidize others. Socialism

Hey staff, how about doing the same for those who can prove they are on Social Security and/or VA Service Connected Disability.

Is Premium still free?
Current grad student, but no access to content.

Yes, but you need to use your TAMU email address. Click here to do that and let me know if it's still not working for you once you've confirmed everything.TULMAN13 said:

It would be interesting to see what impact this has had on the overall texags experience. The premium used to be a great place to get info/insights/tidbits and the zoo sucked because it is usually about 75% sarcasm and stupid posts (old Ag here - I get it that I don't get you and you don't get me). When I had premium - that dynamic crept into the boards and it became less valuable to me so I dropped it.
