Do you remember the time when Emory Bellard lost to OU 77-0, back in 1976?

You remember when the guy announced the results of Buckley's hit over the PA in the second half of the '98 BIG 12 Champ game? The KSU fans and their football team went crazy celebrating THE HIT and had visions of their first BCS game broken jaw. They couldn't hang on though and the rest is history.

TTT!!

Now that Marcus Buckley has gained enough delegates for the Nomination, who do you think he will choose to be his running mate?

Jackie Sherill was not dismissed during the season. Just to clarify a previous clarification offered by someone who is not old enough to be clear on the matter.

He finished the disappointing 88 season with a loss to Alabama in the "Hurricane Bowl" amidst allegations. Slocum's first game as head coach was the 89 season opener.

It was Buckley who recommended RC to be Sherill's replacement

Yup, although there was that strange deal with the TCU game and Jackie going "AWOL" for that game. RC was the "head coach for a day" on that one.

DID YOU KNOW -

After leading the Cleveland Browns to consecutive Superbowl victories Marcus went on to coach at TMI--Texas Military Institute in San Antonio from 1981 to about 1985 as Head Coach. He was undefeated in 1984 with a 10-0-1 record. He is no longer a coach--actually he manages the Mayan Dude Ranch in Bandera.

Man that guy gets around!
