The portal posts on texags have jumped the shark.
People don't understand the current state of college football where roster churn is constant.
It is very likely in the near term there will be less spring practice or no spring practice because this will transition to an OTA NFL-type voluntary thing later in the spring or early summer.
The caveat here is if ESPN and/or fox mandate spring games for offseason programming content. The nfl combine is a thing and covered, so who knows what networks will do in their pursuit of greed.
No one in my circle certainly clamors for offseason football coverage, but the existence of the Texags premium world demonstrates there is a niche market for it.

I think Klein's offense will be more of 11 and 12 personnel offense at A&M. Judging by what we have seen in portal acquisitions at TE and the fact that Crownover elected to turn pro tells me the need for a fullback will be extremely low.

What's a fullback?........ oh, another offensive lineman just starting in the backfield
NEXT YEAR IS HERE.......again

I like the idea of using a 12 personnel offense if we can get away with it, but it would probably be cheating.

We only use 12 personnel on defense.Quote:

Klein uses an H back when he needs the extra blocker, probably a reason we got a transfer that played TE and H back

We do need a Fullback/H-Back similar to what Max Wright and Ben Sinnott were.
could be Garrett Miller or Shane Calhoun. Or Landon Rink…
Wish David Bailey had one more year.
