I'm over from the ND Board and signed up here just to be part of this historic event. Congrats to Aggiegrant06 and the entire Board for this great coup.

I also appreciate the calls for apologies but think you guys might also consider that if he had not been challenged so forcefully in January he might not have named who and where and the proof that he really knew who he was talking about would never have ben known.

The original story was total BS. The author just got lucky. Analyze this with me

Unless it has grown a lot in recent years, Big Red is not large.

This post was dated 1-30-06. If the statement is true, then she first started working there around the end of Dec. 05 or early Jan. 06. The pay for no work happened in the summer of 05. Buzzzzz. BS.

I've been and currently are an owner of more than one business. I can't imagine hiring someone off the street and letting them hand out the payroll checks. That is true even if you have nothing to hide. And, if one were passing phony paychecks to football players, don't you think he would tend to keep it secret?

She had only just been hired. I bet she didn't recognize any of the names.

Why would she think it was fishy if she didn't know who they were? Something about that is fishy alright.

This kills it for me. The new owner of Big Red uncovers dirt done by the previous owner and brings it to the OUAD. Why would he hold back some of the dirt? Why would OU self report and simultaneously cover up? It doesn't make sense.

Man I wish I could say I took down the OU program. Talk about "being a part of the team" like we all preach for the 12th Man tradition. aggiegrant has single handedly done what Coach Fran hasn't been able to do for $2 Million per year! And it was probono. It would be a nice gesture for Bill Byrne to grant Grant (no pun intended) free season tickets for life at Kyle Field.
