All these people contacting NCAA and ESPN and what not. Are we expecting to see "TexAgs" on TV and in the newspapers in the next couple of days or what?
Is it legal??????? (OU / Bomar scandal reported on TexAgs - 7 months ago)

Just so it doesn't get lost in all the post padding...
Who was the walk-on?
Who bought a car from Big Red for 1% of the sticker? (Don't assume it was AD - his deal was a loaner, not a purchase.)
There's still more to come.

Do you really believe that? I bet you the car deal was Peterson. I explained my theory on this earlier in this thread. It is so transparent that I can't believe some people still believe the OU/NCAA spin on it.
The walk-on question is a valid one.

That's the point -- we don't know that it was or wasn't AD. If it wasn't, then OU's got some more 'splainin' to do. If it was, the AD scab just got picked open again.

I was in on page two, and here I am again.
Is anyone else wondering about this?
How does a walk-on get in on this "perk"? I mean, wouldn't there be about...oh... say...50 other people (Scholarship athletes that contribute) in front of him getting on the payroll first?

I was wondering about that myself... How is having a walkon on payroll benefitting anyone? Especially a company?

Good question. Myles? Bob?

Stoops says...sorry, we can't offer you a scholarship.

Just for the record.. Stoops is a stand up guy. I doubt he knew this was happening. Idiot booster and spoiled player. Mack wouldn't have booted VY if the same thing happened in Austin.. No way.

It's pretty hilarious that Stoops and the OU compliance department had no idea this was going on but some guy on Texags did.
I liked this Quote from hornfans. How could he not have known?

Maybe they couldn't offer the walkon a scholarship, so they made another "deal" for him to convince him to come.

if you read all the posts in this thread (i know...that's asking a lot), a guy from oklahoma has already surmised who the walk-on was...there was a walk-on released from the team earlier this year.
