Dr. Gates,
Now my monthly travel schedule to Washington will feel much warmer. Thank God we have an individual who will lead with a vision. We are saddened to see you go, but are blessed that you agreed to fill a historic calling.
Please remember in the difficult days ahead that you have the Aggie faithful on call 24/7. If you need us for anything - WE WILL BE THERE!
God Bless You

Given that the TexAgs Staff has posted this link on the front page of Texags, I presume that ranger65's true identity has been verified.
Thanks, Dr. Gates. Your leadership is much appreciated.
Please maintain your contact with A&M and TexAgs.
I consider you a true Aggie.

Thanks for your service to Texas A&M!
The great thing is, for those of us in the military, Dr. Gates will be our boss!

I heard you speak to an Aggie Mom's Club and was impressed with your sincerity and genuine love for the students. I was equally impressed with how you conducted yourself at the recent confirmation hearings. Thanks for being a part of the Aggie Family!

Thank you Dr. Gates! We are so privileged to have had you as our president. I received two degress during your tenure and I am so honored to have them hanging on the wall in my office. Take care of our soldiers as I know you will!

Dr. Gates,
Thank you for your leadership, vision, and genuine care for A&M. You will be missed, however we do realize that you are serving the greater good of our country.
I only hope that you are able to bring the same leadership and direction to Washington.

Good luck and we hope to see you back on campus after you are finished serving your country once again.

Dr. Gates: I want to offer you the best of luck on your new assignment. I have enjoyed speaking to you on three occasions: At the AFS reception prior to the Clemson game, just after the Katrina victims were invited to the A&M campus. I first met you just after my son's graduation ceremony in 2004 and finally at the Alamo Aggie party before the Army game in San Antonio when we disucssed the increase in minority enrollment at A&M. I thank you for taking the time each and every occasion to stop to talk and share parts of your vision for A&M. You will be missed.
Gig'em.

Sir,
Thanks again for taking time out of your schedule to get the picture taken with us in Baghdad. Now I have a "celebrity photo" to put in my office when I take Command sometime next year.
