Third deck guy myself on the west side...I was crying.

I was at that game as a child. It was an amazing atmosphere. I'll have to dig up my old shirt and bring it to school next time i'm home.

You can see me in the pictures. I'm one of the blue blobs above the band. That was a very special day.

There are many reasons why I am proud to be an Aggie, and this is one of them. I do not think another school in the country could have pulled this off as quickly or successfully, especially in that short a period of time.

I was there, I was 5 I think. I do remember my mom telling me to wear a blue shirt! I won't ever forget that. I don't remember every part of the game, but I do remember being there and knowing the importance of it all.

Wow I feel old reading posters talking about being a kid at that game, it doesn't feel like it was that long ago.

Classic thread. There should be a forum with all the great threads stickied.
third deck, top row. Got a nice sunburn to match my red shirt that day.
Wow...feeling old as well. A 5 year old at that game posts on this board. Crazy.

Is there any movement to repeat the RWB game this year, the 10th anniversary?
I hope not. It's been bantied about before and I still feel that any attempt to recreate it will be trite and completely contrived. Part of what made the original one so special was just how organic and spontaneous it was.
It will never be equalled.
Now the thing that I call livin' is just bein' satisfied with knowin' I got no one left to blame

At the game, Blue in The Zone.
Hard to think of another time I was more proud to be an Aggie. Choked up the whole game, looking around in awe and disbelief.
All that pride and emotion came back the next year on the anniversary, watching the highlights on the jumbotron with the Singing Cadets singing "Proud to Be an American" with the B-52's in route for an awesome flyby (I moved to 3rd deck Alumni Side, perfect vantage point). Not a dry eye in my section.

Just read this entire thread while waiting for a class to start, and I have tears streaming down my face. Gotta love this university.

I just showed this to a couple of coworkers here in NYC and they said they remember seeing it on tv and thinking it was amazing!

This was my first A&M game and sold me on being an Ag.
I can't thank my sister enough for buying me these tickets for my 16th birthday.
So proud to be an Ag and even prouder to be an American.
