Have you registered it with BGE? If not, possible the new owner could register the egg and claim the lifetime warranty. These are a lot more valuable if they come with warranty.

I don't remember if I registered it or not. I bought it from Ace Hardware here in The Woodlands and they have my purchase history on file. If you are interested I can get it registered prior to selling.
