I'm trying to confirm F Alexandra Bailey (San Diego Surf), who is a teammate of Kate Perry, but I haven't heard anything concrete yet. She does have A&M among her favorites though. I'm not going to post her as a commitment until it comes from a reliable source. She would be a huge pickup though, another Top 50 national recruit for '11. Wow, Coach G is on fire right now.

Bailey reminds me of Shipley, but with more speed. We'd love to have her.

Man, this class is turning out to be pretty stellar... but it will never eclipse my favorite recruiting class, no matter who they add.

Yes, this is the class of 2011, which signs next February.

BTW, Coach G is already starting to make waves with the 2012 class and we could start seeing some commitments from elite prospects in that class in the near future. Soccer recruiting is way ahead of most sports as coaches actively recruit about 2-3 years before signing day. The 2011 class is just about done for most major programs, so the attention has turned to the 2012 kids.

She was probably in a similar situation as Kim in that she was struggling for playing time behind so many great forwards at UNC. She was highly recruited and ranked #13 in the nation by Soccer Buzz coming out of high school. If she does transfer to A&M, it would be a good pickup for us since we are suddenly thin and the forward position. I believe she would have two years to play, coming in as a Junior.
