Oh. And Deadpool 3 will likely net RR over 50 million in a few years. He's got some money to play with.

I think they are likely in it for a while. I also think they will spend what they need to get them up next year if not this year (unless there is a cap??).

Would not be a good look to give up 3 years in...they know it...

I think they are in for several more years. I can't see them getting out before they get promoted. Granted, most of my info is from a tv show and Twitter but they seem pretty emotionally invested

The formal jump from non-league to league football is a pretty big deal. Big stuff like being considered a full professional club to other benefits like better mobility upwards if you can achieve it and you get a guaranteed league cup fixture. 4 teams advance from League Two to League One.

All that available, I'm certainly of the opinion that ownership will continue spending until Wrexham is firmly a league two side and perhaps even competing for promotion to League One.

You have to hit a point somewhere out there where not being a billionaire puts serious limits on how far you can take the club. If they're successful and get the club up to League One, I think that is the point where we start to see rumors of a sale or at least a search for operating and financial partners. Getting a team into the upper tiers of the league is likely prohibitively expensive unless you're some sort of talent evaluation savant.

I've wondered why the one end of the stadium looks condemned and nothing was getting done about it.

Their FA Cup match vs Oldham from Sunday is on ESPN+ for those interested

They covered it in one of the shows. They had to get permission to,buy the stadium and it took town approval which apparently is pita there

Yeah. I remember all that. I don't remember why part of the stands are closed.

Watched the match on replay, fantastic game. Never been so nervous for a team that was up 4-1 with the other team down to 10 men.

Crazy the amount of support Wrexham had at Coventry, I am sure the Racecourse will be wild for a 5th round FA Cup match.

Wrexham beat Bromley 2-1 yesterday. 3 points back of the league leader Notts County with two games in hand.

https://www.wrexhamafc.co.uk/news/2023/january/review--wrexham-2-1-bromley/

Notts County was always in the upper divisions of the English system until 2018-2019, when it was relegated to its current level.

Yeah. I looked up Notts County. Their stadium is just across the river from Forest. Kinda crazy 2 stadiums so close.

However you want to chalk it up, they were eliminated from the competition and the team they were playing advanced…

A good Championship team too. The Coventry City win was great and all but Sheffield is currently second place. Im tuning in to see how crazy the Racecourse will be
