Wrexham is the most likely team to win League 2 next year, IMO.

These tiers are not similar to the Championship to Premier League transitions.

Last years National League winner Stockport could potentially gain automatic promotion with three games left in League 2 this year.

"Former Wales international Hal Robson-Kanu has offered his services to Wrexham from next season as he took to Instagram to offer his services to Reynolds. Replying to the co-owner's post, he suggesed himself for next season, writing: 'I'll come out of retirement and come and play for Wrexham next season."

He also offered to donate his salary to the charity of the fans choosing.

That is interesting. Would make a good storyline for sure.

There's a pretty decent chance he wouldn't be good enough to start. Fitness can decline sharply after 30 and he retired 2 years ago.

Regarding the potential for double promotion for Wrexham, I've looked into it before for these divisions, because I was curious regarding how easy it is to jump through these divisions. If you play lower leagues in Football Manager its pretty to easy to jump through two or three divisions on these levels of the pyramid in successive seasons, and it actually is more common than I thought it would be when I looked up real life results. Over the past 30 years or so I think 16 different teams have had two successive promotions between the National League, League Two, and League One levels. Tranmere Rovers and Luton Town were the last, both had the second of double promotion seasons in 2018-19.
