I'm kinda digging these retro Sounders kits.

I love the Sounders kits, first time in a long time I've wanted their home shirt. Honestly I like most if not all the shirts this year

They seem to have moved away from making every club use the same adidas template from the team issue catalog. Vast improvement.

And for the 3 Texas teams.

Who the hell thought purple was a good color for the Dynamo?

Dallas jersey sucks, red is our primary color not blue, and the blue to red gradient looks bad. Should have either done 2 solid color blocks or preferably gone back to doing hoops which is what most fans want and was our identity for a long time

Oh man. As much as people complain about MLS'/PRO reffing, they're in for a rude awakening.

To each their own. I just hope it's an alternate kit. But if it's the main one for 2024, I truly hope I'm in the minority when it comes to like/dislike.

It's just their away kit, theyll still wear orange at home most of the time.

I'm glad MLS fans get to experience the larger "why is my team wearing this ****, I thought our colors were ____?" that fans around the globe get every year.

Having a good sports cry today, Ozzie Alonso signed a 1 day contract so he could retire a Sounder. Dangit i love that dude.

I remember when Alonso defected when the Cuban national team was in Houston...for the Gold Cup I think. Great player.

Was just looking at the Inter Miami schedule and didn't see a single game in the state of Texas for 2024. I realize they're in the East and all Texas clubs in the West, but damn, would have been nice to see the Barcelona retirement team in person without traveling out of state.

MLS roster rule change expected to loosen U-22 player restrictions this summer

Relevant excerpt:
Quote:

A key roster rule change in MLS is in the works and is expected to go into effect this summer, with the league planning to decouple designated player (DP) spots and U-22 initiative slots, sources briefed on the talks tell The Athletic.

Currently for an MLS club to use all three U-22 initiative slots, they cannot have three senior, over-max-budget DPs. In that instance, clubs can use only one U-22 initiative slot. Under the expected change, clubs will have access to all three U-22 initiative slots, no matter how they strategize their DP spots.

But somehow Montreal's coach is mad at the referee instead of his GK. Which is also some HS soccer bull shot

He's such a troll I think he believes his own trolls. But I'll bite.

It's by no means a perfect measure, but according to transfermarkt, the Top 3 MLS team' player valuations are:

Miami 89M
Atlanta 61M
Seattle 55M

Meanwhile the Bottom 3 team player valuations in EPL are:
Burnley 256M
Sheffield 144M
Luton 125M

Again, it's not a perfect measure but there's typically a strong correlation between player valuation and performance on the field (unless your team is Chelsea).
