Does anyone feel that Dev's defense has fallen off / isn't as great as it was made out to be in the draft? Reddish gave him a 'too small' yesterday. That must have been a career low.

Always been hit or miss and way overhyped during the draft.

A lot of these guys are clearly lacking confidence. They just look unsure of themselves. It's interesting that Pop has started Branham at the point the last two games. He's not terrible.

BTW, this game was great for Wemby. AD dunked on him a couple times in the first half and it seemed to really light a fire. One of the toughest things for young players to learn is how to play with focus and intensity. There's nobody on the team to set an example so they'll learn most from the competition.

As soon as Sissoko can get his 3s to 35%, I would love to see that guy on the floor. His stats don't pop in Austin but that dude can be an impactful defensive player. Our perimeter guys are kind of soft on defense.

In reply to Ag Natural Yea Wemby definitely has that competitiveness to match his talent which is going to make him special. Not surprising that his first foul out game was against AD but he didn't back down at all.

And yes on Malaki. He has looked like a different player these last two games. I would like us to run more stuff for him to get to his middy. Seems like we really got away from that.

December 15th is when the trade market will start to open up as recently signed free agents can be traded. I doubt we will do anything significant but there will start to be some activity. Marc J Spears mentioned he's keeping an eye on Keldon. I don't buy it though.

Zach Collins is worse than Hostile_Aggie guarding the post.

Everyone was afraid that Wemby was too fragile to handle the five spot this early. It turns out that he's fine. As Pop said to start the season, they roll guys out there and adapt to their strengths.
