I don't think the Phillies will trade Hamels. If they do, you'd assume they'd want the farm for him. Greinke would be a great add, but like said previously it's not likely the Brewers would trade in division. Wandy is a possibility, but I feel he peaked 2 years ago.

Wandy(ful) might have enough left in the tank to help the Cards; the Cards could certainly use some "lefty" help.

Last night was the best of both worlds, ruggiano hit a 435 foot bomb and the Cards win.

I just didn't know what you meant.

I like Matheny a lot.

We will see if they get the ship righted soon. The bullpen has been the major concern and that's more of a GM and injury thing. It would look a hell of a lot better with Lynn in there like he was going to be at the start of the year.

7 out of the last 8. I know 4 were against the Cubs but a) I hate the Cubs and b) we absolutely trashed them. We scored 32 runs over 4 games against them and only allowed 7 and 6 were against Lynn today (thanks jackass... he's on my fantasy team. Big 1 point I got today).

Bats are heating up and Beltran has been out two straight.

Lance Berkman has really had his share of injuries. Hope he gets back in the lineup soon!

Furcal going down has hurt a bunch along with Beltran cooling off in the last couple of months. We need some bats to heat up here in the last couple of weeks.
