I had a nice sized bag way back before Elon pimped it. I don't even want to think about it at $1. Smdh.

I wish Elon farted on DGB instead of DOGE - heh. Elon picking doge is like Oprah's book club.

Sounds like the same thing as Render? Which is way higher market cap. And has AI in the name?

Also Toshi on base. Trying to rack up some transactions on Base as I hope they will eventually do an airdrop.

Physically ill looking at FET. I was staring at it at $0.50.

Why? The right information of what might happen leads to big gains - just research who is making dots, where those dots might end up, and then connect them.
Did you not anticipate an AI surge based on NVIDIA news and the merge of Fet, Agix, and Ocean.

What "project "?

I keep my information and opinion to myself these days. If y'all do well I am genuinely happy, and I have zero concerns for my portfolio.

Like the latest - multiple states reaching out to Cardano about voting on the blockchain. Frustrating that the CF doesn't believe it could be done properly in time this election cycle woth a short window. However, very intriguing to see how it is approached and developed for the future.

any of the experts on here care to explain the differences between the various bitcoin ETFs?

is there one which simply mimics the price of BTC just as owning real BTC does?

I am thinking it may be worth less stress to just convert all my cold storage into buying the same value in an ETF on Fidelity.

Less stress? How?

because then I just take all the BTC I have on the cold storage wallet, sell it to dollars

transfer the dollars to buy an ETF on my Fidelity Brokerage

I don't have to worry about losing passwords, forgetting how to use the storage wallet, someone stealing my BTC from coinbase.com etc..

if there is an actual tracker of the price, it's just like owning any other ETF in my portfolio but still gives me the same exposure.

The tax implications are not worth it for me.

Not a whole lot of difference between the ETFs, just the fee structure. The blackrock and fidelity ETFs are the largest holdings and volume.

Anyone know how to buy $HIGHER on base? Can't figure it out. Don't want to do VPN/Uniswap.

what's the downside to moving the "physical" BTC off a cold storage wallet and just buying the equivalent value of shares in an ETF tracker?

1. there is the taxable event of selling for a profit
2. the benefits of having BTC as a completely separate entity diversified from equities and existing brokerages

however, at SOME point in the future you will have to sell the BTC, either age 53 or age 63 or age 73 so what difference does that make?

if the entire economy collapses, is having BTC on a thumb drive going to save you? versus having it in the Fidelity portal?

You don't understand Bitcoin if you're asking that question. I'm happy to recommend a few books if you want to try and figure it out.
