Which one of the "whoever we want" coaches did you get?

You had the Big 12 Commissioner on your side and you go out there and lose 57-7 ???

We were all rooting for you!

I like the new Aggie hire! The big name hires never work out in College Station.

Not bad for a basketball school that was doing much worse before Elko.
I don't have the study on hand to post but there was a seasonal list of how under Elko
that Notre Dames defense stats had improved steadily, and the same thing happened at A&M.
The proof will be in the pudding, of course, but I like the Aggies chances with Elko.

Imagine the stock chart of a a great investment.

And now you have a business. where all the best people buy their elk.

good hire imo. I thought it would come quicker, but compared to a lot of coach-searches it went smoothly, especially considering the number of options a huge motivated university has.

Ags have a unique school, one of a kind, and can sell that instead of some glam name.

So Mark Stoops, who was a 7-5 coach in the SEC is unacceptable to the A&M fanbase, but Mike Elko, another 7-5 coach, is acceptable.
The only difference being Elko is 7-5 ...... in the ACC.

Not sure the non-A&M posters grasp the thought process behind this?

I'm pretty sure the "we can get anyone we want" folks are 90 miles to the west.

So that was the purpose behind Carmine's post? Kind of esoteric, but I'm sure that was it - investment strategy comparison.

Actually, there is another difference. Stoops has been at Kentucky for 10 years

idk. didn't understand it/examine it. I'm sure he was making a valid point.
I was speaking to the purpose of your post.

Elko is just the public face of the program now. All coaching and play calling will be done by our new supercomputer and it's fully sentient AI

This is the first public photo of the new system.

The armpit of Texas, Lubbock, talking smack about a team they wish they were. Our losses will always be bigger news than your wins. Have fun riding off into the shadows of college football, while we play in Prime Time every week.

One thing you'll NEVER hear, "texas tech makes the Top 6 remaining teams of the CFP".

Oh I'm sorry he didn't come with a custom Armani suit. Maybe that's how they roll in Asstin, but the blue collar attitude is what I like.
